About the Collection Vibia Class
Sebastian Herkner designed the LED outdoor lights Class by Vibia 2023 as a "modern interpretation of the torch", and therefore as an outdoor illumination with the beauty of high-class lights for the living space. The collection comprises wall lamps in two sizes and low and high bollard lights with one or two diffusers.
The diffusers are cylindrical and held in a vertical position by discreet bent clamps. There is a small space between the diffusers and the aluminium structure so that the light emitted by the integrated LED ribbon shines all around. The diffusers' borosilicate glass features grooves that break the light and ensure an even, glare-free illumination.
The high-quality LEDs spread a warm white light of 2700K with a very good colour rendering. The result is an illumination that is pleasant for both human beings and nature. It is warm and pleasant, makes colour hues natural and precise and creates welcoming light islands on terraces and balconies, stages plants, illuminates garden paths, driveways and outdoor areas in private and public spaces.
The Class LED lights have an atmospheric light and the intimate aesthetics of patio illumination and the function of bollard lights. Its classical material combination and the clear, elegant formal language adapts to every architectural surrounding and harmonizes with nature. Especially the bollard lights with two light sources subtly remind of plants because their two diffusers are placed in staggered positions, right and left on the structure, like leaves on a branch.
The light fixtures are dust-proof and protected against the penetration of hose water (protection index IP65). The many models enable individual lighting concepts in outdoor areas and gardens. The high post lamp for example illuminates its surroundings, while the bollard light spreads a limited light and brightens paths and flower beds. The wall lamps create an atmospheric light on house walls and appeal especially on terraces and balconies, where they create inviting rooms with the charm of elegant living room lights.
For the bollard lights, the installation on a concrete fundament is recommended.
