The Italian designer Lorenza Bozzoli was born on the 7th of March 1953 in Milan.
After completing school, Bozzoli started studying at the renowned Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan.
In 1975, she graduated and first worked as a freelance designer for diverse renowned companies, before founding her own design studio.
Her collaboration with Slamp led to some remarkable projects that earned international recognition. The Slamp lights designed by Bozzoli impress with their innovative design.
Lorenza Bozzoli's design philosophy is based on the idea that design should not be only functional, but should awake emotions and tell stories. She believes that each object should have a soul and that good design has the ability to touch and inspire human-beings.
For her extraordinary performances in the design sector, Lorenza Bozzoli was awarded several renowned prizes. Among others, she received the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award.
