Arihiro Miyake

Arihiro Miyake was born in Japan in 1975 where he started design studies at the Kobe Design University. Later he completed a master of furniture and room design at the Aalto University in Finland. After completing his studies, Miyake worked in some design studios in Helsinki and Milano, prior to founding his own design studio "Studio Arihiro Miyake" in Helsinki in 2004. The Japanese designer works on projects dealing with interior design, product and lighting design.

His studio works in collaboration with many internationally famous companies, among them the Dutch design brand Moooi and the Italian light brand Nemo. His works are exhibited in design museums and exhibitions worldwide.
