About the Collection Vibia Algorithm
The LED lighting system Algorithm by Vibia is an architectural design tool offering infinite possibilities, designed by Toan Nguyen. The collection comprises a range of prefabricated pendant lights with several, diversely arranged suspensions, yet also enables own combinations to create individual lighting concepts.
Each suspension consists of a LED light ball of transparent, grooved glass with a polycarbonate diffuser, held by an aluminium structure and a cable. The single light is directly connected with the round ceiling rose, while the multiple lights are first suspended on a remarkable tubular steel lattice. This lattice is directly mounted on the ceiling with vertical tubes or suspended at the desired height with steel cables.
Please, note that the cables located between the steel lattice and the glass balls cannot be shorten.
When placed above seating areas, couchs or dining tables, the Algorithm multiple suspensions create a room in the room and thus an intimate atmosphere. The grid-like, arranged light balls, but also the filigreed metallic structure above them, lower the ceiling and play the role of an architectural element that impacts on its surroundings, even when switched off. The light balls form fluid waves, obliques surfaces, lines or clusters, the cables form delicate vertical lines and the metallic lattice forms geometric patterns. Even the largest arrangements seem nearly immaterial, feather light and transparent. They do not narrow the room and do not block the view. The light shines in all the directions, broken by the glass' grooved structure.
Each light ball is equipped with high quality LEDs emitting a warm white colour temperature of 2700K, promoting well-being with a high colour rendering and creating a comfortable atmosphere. In its light, colour hues appear natural and precise, faces seem healthy and food appetizing.
The many versions of the Algorithm LED suspensions enable individual illumination concepts for demanding projects in private spaces and in public rooms, in hotel foyers and halls, stairwells, reception halls and restaurants. Algorithm provides not only illumination, but also structures the room, separates seating areas from their surroundings, draws the attention and sets architectural highlights.
Diverse dimming options are possible. On request, the Algorithm light fixtures are also available with neutral white LEDs of 3500K.
Awarded with the Architizer A+ Award 2018, the Product Innovation Award 2018 of the magazine Architectural SSL and as Best of Year 2017 of the magazine Interior Design.
