The LED chandelier Meshmatics by Moooi fascinates with a shade composed of three parts made of steel wire and exuding transparency, lightness and soft light. Meshmatics was designed by Rick Tegelaar in 2017 and is available in two sizes.
Three vaulted shades made of thin wire mesh are nested in such a manner that the overlapping meshes create a unique and varied appearance, even when the light is turned off. The light's glare is reduced by the meshes and is spread all around in the room. Brass accents emphasize the shades' edges and lend the light fixture an outstanding refined character.
The integrated LEDs have a warm white light colour. They spread a soft illumination, serving as an atmospherical accent, as a decorative lighting object over dining tables or seating corners.
The Meshmatics LED suspensions can be placed in the living room, in hotels, restaurants and entry halls. Its translucent material does not optically reduce the room's size, so that even the large version or a cluster of several Meshmatics lights produce an harmonious impression and float with lightness.
