Moooi
Kaipo Too Collection

The table lamp Kaipo Too by Moooi consists entirely of blown Venitian glass, and impresses with its size and a shape inspired by classical style. The design by Edward van Vliet was originally created in 2001, yet had first a textile shade instead of the glass shade used since 2019.

The base has an artful and curvacious silhouette, emphasized by the brilliance of its surface. The glass is opaque and contrasts with the transparent, coloured shade. There is a small glass G9 diffuser inside that provides a glare-free and even light distribution. It is possible to choose between two colour versions: pewter and sepia. Both colours exude elegance and retro charm. The grey white pewter colour is lighter and adapts effortless to every interior, while the brownish sepia best harmonizes with warm colours and spreads a muffled light. A dimmer on the electrical cable makes possible to adapt the brightness as desired and so to always create the right lighting ambience.

Because of its consistent material, Kaipo Too appears very modern despite a traditional formal language and adapts to minimalistic spaces. Also interieurs of entirely classical style are enriched with refined brilliance and sublime size. It appeals on sideboards and side tables, even on the floor or on large desks.
