Luceplan
Tango Collection

Design by Francisco Gomez Paz

The energically efficient floor lamp Tango by Luceplan is a design by the famous Argentinian designer Francisco Gomez Paz. The stunning floor lamp imitates the sensual and harmonious movements of same name dance, whereas the geometrical structure of the LED light fixture catches the dynamic of tango.

The body of the lamp is composed of three mobile aluminium rods with connections from elastomer mounted on a triangular steel base. When one touches the handles at a junction point with the hand, a smooth pivoting movement occurs in the central area of the rods. This movement goes on up to the joint of the triangular reflector - located in the upper part of the light - which can be slanted at will in order to illuminate the wall instead of the ceiling.

The triangular reflector from synthetic material of the floor lamp has LEDs arranged in a row and holds the technical equippment. Thanks to the diffusers from metacrylate moulded by injection, it produces a diffuse and homogenous light. The switch and the sensorial dimmer are located in the upper part on one of the three rods.
