The straight-lined Foscarini Magneto, as the name suggests, is a designer light fixture whose well-thought-out functionality is determined by a magnetic ball located inside.
The power of the magnet, which is the very heart of the Magneto floor and table lamp, connects the light rod with the LED diffuser. The small, round magnet makes it possible to position the diffuser flexibly and to move it freely in all directions. Visually, it is reminiscent of a flashlight or a microphone. The base of the Magneto can make a full rotation around its own axis. It is therefore an extremely flexible design light fixture that is perfect as a reading or working light.
The LED light source generates a directed, precise light beam. The LED source illuminates a rather small area when oriented downwards towards a book or a magazine. When directed upwards, however, it casts a soft, diffuse light, creating a cozy atmosphere.
