Ludovica and Roberto Palomba experimented with different surfaces and their behaviour with light during the development of the Foscarini Bump pendant lamp. The result of their research and experiments is a pendant light that reveals its very own natural character and creates an interesting dialogue with light.
Bump consists of a dome-shaped lampshade featuring an irregular, organic surface that results from the material: injection-moulded PMMA and ABS. The light is distributed directly downwards, the surfaces below are gently illuminated. In the case of the transparent/satined version, the light also penetrates gently through the lampshade. The gold, black and petrol blue versions, on the other hand, are opaque and have a white inner surface.
The cable is transparent and the ceiling canopy is matt white or black for the black version. A decentralization kit is available on request.
The Foscarini Bump pendant lamp is suitable for lighting round or square dining tables.
