About the Collection DCWéditions ISP

DCWéditions ISP are not usual light fixtures. They are special. They are a mystery because we do not understand what kind of objects they are at first sight. ISP is the work of a young Russian Italian inventor who is only 30 years old in 2017 when he created this design. His name is Ilia Sergeevich Potemine and the three letters ISP are the acronym of his name.

ISP by DCWéditions is a mini revolution in the world of lighting. It was neither inspired by an existing light fixture, nor the reproduction of an obscure design from a bygone era. They are contemporary design objects and a strong statement. The technoid shape is reminiscent of a submarine and awakes long forgotten worlds from Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas".

The DCWéditions ISP collection embodies a refined fusion of mechanics and trailblazing design, and is devoid of switch and dimmer. Highly modern LED tubular diffusers are concealed inside the mysterious elongated brass capsule located on the table lamp's refined marble base. The light fixtures are switched on and off by pulling out and pushing in the tubular diffuser with the aid of a small rod at the end of the tubes.

The light's brightness is adjusted in the same manner and thus various light ambiences are created. When the tube is entirely pulled out from the capsule a strong and warm light is generated, when it is pushed in a cozy dim light is created.
