About the Collection DCWéditions Collection Atmospherics
The DCWéditions Collection Atmospherics includes an array of creations by diverse designers, which strike with a soft, relaxing light.
The idea behind this collection, was that light evolves in the course of time and everywhere in the world. Originally, there was the warm, flickering light of candles. Centuries later, even our fridges are equipped with a comfortable, bright LED illumination. The modern lighting technique adapts always better to our modern needs for illumination. While we are made active by daylight and a brighter illumination during the day, we wish a comforting illumination that is relaxing and soothing during the evening hours.
The DCWéditions lights in the Atmospheric collection fulfill these requirements. They all produce a muffled, pleasant light and create a relaxing room atmosphere. In addition, they shine with an individual aesthetics that enriches the room with decoration. The lights in the DCWéditions Collection Atmospherics are Borely, Midnight, Delumina, Rosalie and Respiro and are distinguished by an individual, artful visual effect.
Borely is a wall lamp with geometric shapes that spreads soft, warm light designed by the French designer Eric Gizard.
Midnight are wall lamps in two sizes, designed by Stéphanie Cayet. They are composed of two half plates of milky glass and black steel and have a cheerful, graphical appearance.
Rosalie was designed by the architect and designer Julie Fuillet and the light designer Emeric Thiénot, and is a wall lamp of thin aluminium plates. This light fixture generates warm and relaxing light shining diffusely to create a soft atmosphere.
Delumina by Guilia Liverani is a suspension or wall lamp, composed of two glass plates. Thanks to a playful and surprising process, they create a soft light shining through.
