With Bontà, the designers Attila Veress and Davide Oldani research on the interface of light, food and conviviality. The small rechargeable light fixture has a modular construction, with removable glass cups in which snacks or decorative objects can be presented.
The light fixture's diffuser is cylindrical and features soft rounded edges. It is made of milky glass and has a delicate, decorative structure. A hollow on the upper side, available in flat and stout shape, and in various colours to choose from, serves as a secure anchor for the cups of coloured glass.
The cups can be placed on a flat wooden base, so that many individual arrangements are possible with which restaurant tables and banquet tables can get a personal note.
The multifunctional and decorative Bontà is a welcomed accent especially on narrow tables, because it does not only spread soft light, but even offers room for food.
The slide switch on the light body's underside dims the light at three stages (100%, 50%, 25%) or switches it off.
The battery's operating time is of maximum 32 hours at lowest light brightness, at higher brightness level it is of maximum 8 hours. The charging time is of 3 hours.
