The LED pendant lamps w202 Halo by Wästberg pay homage to the classic incandescent lamp and combine archetypal silhouettes with high-quality materials and excellent lighting technology. The collection includes three models with differently shaped lampshades, each with its own character and different lighting atmosphere. The design is by David Chipperfield.
The shade and the diffuser of the Halo pendant lamps are made of hand-blown opal glass and are manufactured by experienced craftsmen. The diffuser mimics the classic shape of a light bulb, a luminous sphere that forms a harmonious whole with the glass shade. Depending on the shape of the shade, the sphere is hidden inside or clearly visible. The light is directed downwards and creates soft, atmospheric illumination.
A cylindrical aluminum heat sink is the connection between the screen and the suspension.
The integrated COB LED is characterized by its high quality and long service life. It is a full-spectrum LED whose light can recreate the entire colour spectrum of sunlight and is therefore superiour to conventional LEDs. This results in a very high colour rendering, so that colour nuances appear natural and exact in the light of the Halo LED lamps. This is an advantage wherever accurate colour perception is important.
