Oluce
Fresnel Collection

Design by Joe Colombo

The Oluce Fresnel outdoor lights have light heads which imitate the shape of a classic Fresnel lens. Fresnel lenses were originally developped by the French physicist Augustin Jean Fresnel for lighthouses, to warn the sailors of the dangers. The light structure is made of lacquered or chrome-plated aluminium, while the light body is made of high-quality glass.

The Oluce Fresnel outdoor wall and ceiling lamps and the Fresnel bollard lights, designed in 1966 by pioneering Italian industrial designer Joe Colombo, spread especially diffuse, warm light and can serve in the garden, on paths and on facades. The wall lamps are protected against splashed water with IP44, the bollard lights even against sprinkled water with IP45. The Oluce Fresnel light fixtures are available with E14 base or with integrated LEDs.
