Nemo
Escargot Collection

Design by Le Corbusier

Escargot by Nemo is far more than a decorative floor lamp. It is a sought-after collector's item with a limited number of production.

The extraordinary light fixture was designed in 1954 by no one less than architect and furniture designer Le Corbusier. Escargot is the French word for snail and describes the shape of the unconventional floor lamp holding the lamp in its centre. The light body is coated with brass, while the external face is coated with gold and the inside with silver.

The special 300W incandescent bulb's light intensity can be effortlessly varied in brightness with the integrated dimmer on the cable.
