About the Collection Mawa Design Schliephacke Edition

The Mawa Design Schliephacke/Berliner Bratpfanne floor lamp attracts the attention and has a very modern allure. In 1959, the German designer and architect Fridtjof Schliephacke designed a floor lamp using a common object, a frying pan, for a new purpose. This multifunctional light is now manufactured by Mawa. It is made of aluminium in a choice of five different versions and is characterized by a steerable shade.

This designer light is exhibited in various museums. It can be admired in the Vitra design collection in Weil am Rhein as well as in Museums in Berlin and Leipzig.

Please, do not push the light to avoid scratches on the floor.
