Marset
Nº8 Collection

Design by Christophe Mathieu

The small LED wall lamp Nº8 by Marset convinces both in optic and haptic with its round head of wood. As a reading light next to the bed or in the reading corner, it offers flexibility and an intuitive function, beauty and individuality. It was designed by Christophe Mathieu in 2016.

The light head is a handmade wooden ball with characteristic veins, soft curves and smooth transitions that invite to touch the light fixture. A slender flexible arm holds the light head and makes it possible to guide the light in any desired direction. The black textile coating of the flexible arm creates a cozy impression. The wall socket and further visible metallic pieces are lacquered in matching black.

The conveniently reachable on/off switch is conveniently located directly on the flat wall socket. The integrated LEDs spread an especially warm white light that is ideally suited for cozy living spaces and responsible for a relaxed atmosphere in the evening.

Each exemplar of the light is a unique piece with unique characteristics. Wood is a natural material featuring surface and colour variations. Its natural wood grain differs from one light fixture to the other and lends individuality to each piece.
