Marset
Mercer Collection

Design by Joan Gaspar

The light fixtures Mercer by Marset mix glass and textile into an elegant design that radiates lightness. Joan Gaspar's design from 2005 has become a whole collection, comprising suspensions, ceiling lamps, wall lamps and table lamps.

The cylindrical textile diffuser is surrounded by transparent, blown glass, lending the very classical design a modern touch, without completely modifying the shape. The textile shade is available in two versions: in pearl white to create a clear, minimalistic impression and in natural-coloured cotton ribbon with decorative texture and retro appeal.

The glass body surrounds the shade entirely and its simplicity establishes a contrast with the softly rounded edges and shiny surfaces. The table lamp also has a base of transparent glass thanks to which the light fixture seems to float.

The light is pleasantly and diffusely distributed through the shade in the room. Depending on the model, diffusers of opaline glass on the upper or lower side create a glare-free and diffuse light distribution.
