The rechargeable light Chispa by Marset was created in 2020 in collaboration with the CUPRA car label. The design by Joan Gaspar is a true all rounder. It is a portable table lamp for inside and outside, and can also be very easily transformed into a suspension. For this purpose, there is a 100 cm long, black rope with hook in the scope of delivery, enabling various suspension heights with the aid of a metallic part.
The design is inspired of workshop lights and camping lights. However, its quality is of higher value. The shape is reduced modernly and the colours are fresh and cheerful. The round diffuser is made of opaline white polyethylene and rests on a base of coloured polycarbonate. A reflector grid, also of polycarbonate, surrounds the diffuser.
The integrated LEDs have an especially warm white light colour and an outstanding colour rendering. A very pleasant and cozy light is provided that features the colour hues precisely and creates exactly the right lighting atmosphere - for pleasant hours in the living room or when reading in a bed, but also for convivial evenings on the terraces or balcony, in the garden or when camping, because the handy rechargeable light is protected against sprinkled water (IP44 protection class) and suitable for a use outdoors.
The switch dimmer is located directly on the base and enables to dim the brightness at three levels.
The rechargeable battery works up to 7 hours at maximum light intensity, 14 hours at medium intensity and up to 28 hours at lowest intensity. With the aid of the USB C cable comprised in the delivery, Chispa is completely reloaded within 10 hours.
