The Ella suspension by Marchetti is an eye-catching design object, but seems light and aery despite its large size.
The shade consists of three bent metallic plates, arranged obliquely around the lamp and thus forming a fascinating shade which looks different, depending on the angle from where it is viewed, and is reminiscent of swirling paper or textile.
The shade's open structure is especially emphasized, when the shades' inner and external sides are lacquered in contrasting colours. Ella also appeals in unicolour version. In black or white, its shape's clearness is underlined and enchants, while the precious coatings with leaf gold or leaf silver attract the attention on their fascinating shine.
