The Cima pendant or floor lamp was designed by Marco Dessí and has been part of the Lodes range since 2021. The subject of shipping or to be more precise the function of so-called cleats in sailing boats served as an inspiration for the lamp. Cima is Italian and also means "rope", which is the characteristic design element of the light fixture. The rope arises from the cylindrical counterweight and stretches to the ceiling, where it is attached to an eyelet. Cima can reach a maximum height of 4.3 m.
A black joint made of polymer moves along the rope, which supports the black, cylindrical lamp head. It also helps to adjust the light beam. In the case of lower ceilings, the counterweight makes it possible to hide a part of the rope.
Cima is an exciting lighting solution in every interior. The technical, simple appearance of the black elements of the Cima lamp is complemented by the sophisticated, coloured rope. The light head is equipped with a GU10 lamp and emits direct, focused light. Cima by Lodes is an ideal reading light next to the couch or bed, but can also accentuate certain objects in the room. Several Cima lights placed next to each other are an extraordinary design statement and demonstrate that the Lodes light offer infinite decorative options.
