The Cherry Bubbls LED light chains by IP44.de decorate balconies and gardens with soft points of light that can be arranged individually. The collection includes a version with a solar panel, one with a power bank and one with a plug cable. The design is by Klaus Nolting.
Each lamp has seven spherical lamps that are lined up along a cable. As they are powered by a solar panel or power bank, the Cherry Bubbls require no power outlet and can be used anywhere in the garden. The generous cable length allows a wide variety of arrangements along branches, pergolas and balcony railings. The lamps should hang loosely and not be under tension.
The Cherry Bubbls lamps are made of black silicone and smoke-coloured glass. This colour scheme ensures that the lamps blend in unobtrusively with their surroundings, especially in the dark, and produce a soft gleam that does not dazzle but looks as natural as the glow of fireflies. The warm white light color of the LEDs not only feels particularly pleasant to people, but also has little negative effect on nocturnal insects.
The solar version charges itself automatically during the day with a solar panel that should be placed in a location with a lot of direct sunlight. It switches on automatically in the evening and switches off again after 5 hours (twilight function).
Alternatively, the version with a power bank offers the options of switching the light on and off manually and setting three brightness levels. The control switch is located on the power bank, which may only be placed above ground. For charging, the power bank is removed from the lamp and connected to a indoor power outlet with a USB-C charger.
The Cherry Bubbls are protected against water, dirt and dust (IP65). Protection is only given if all connections are correctly plugged in or sealed with the sealing caps. The plug of Cherry Bubbls Plug has IP44 protection.
