The minimalist spotlight Spock was designed in 1998 by Bernhard Dessecker and can be installed on the wall or on the ceiling. The lamp is adjustable at will thanks to a ball-joint and is well-suited as a source of accent lighting and focussed illumination in the corridor, in the kitchen, in front of shelves or wardrobe.
The design is reduced and elegant as a result: a transparent lamp socket made of glass, meant to hold the reflector lamp PAR30, is attached to a slender metallic stem with ball-joint. Spock was originally designed for halogen reflector lamps, but today the use of a corresponding LED retrofit lamp is recommended.
The delivery includes a surface-mounting box with a cover. The light fixture is also suitable for recessed mounting.
