Ingo Maurer
Lampampe Collection

The table lamp Lampampe was created 1980 by Ingo Maurer and is entirely made of Japanese paper that spreads diffuse and cozy light. The cylindrical light base and the conical shade form an archetypical shape, sporting a simplicity upgraded by a slightly creased surface structure. Individual details turn each light fixture into a unique piece. Thanks to its size, Lampampe can be placed on the floor. When placed on side tables and dressers in living rooms, it ensures a soft, glare-free light and creates a cozy atmosphere.

The paper diffuser is made by hand in Munich. Other components are made of synthetics and metal. The electrical cable is equipped with a switch.

The lamp is not suited for use in rooms with high humidity.
