Ingo Maurer
Floatation Collection

The elegant pendant light Floatation was created in 1980 by Ingo Maurer and is characterized by its threefold paper diffuser. The light fixture is available in three different sizes and with two different cable lengths.

The three shades are made of Japanese paper and have the shape of stacked funnels. They are suspended on fine metal cables, attached to the ceiling canopy made of white lacquered metal. The red iron ring above the shades serves to continuously adjust the height of the light shades. The paper is slightly wrinkled as a deliberate design choice.

Floatation is not suitable for rooms with high humidity. The shades can be replaced individually if necessary.
