The LED wall light Eclipse Ellipse by Ingo Maurer projects generous lighting and shadow effects on the wall. It consists of a small and a large, white metallic disc, the smaller one containing the LEDs and directing its light against the large surface. The latter is illuminated and also projects a shadow with elliptical shape. By turning and adjusting the inclination angle of both discs, it is possible to modify the shadow's direction, shape and size.
Eclipse Ellipse is especially suitable for extensive, naked walls, for example at reception desks, in corridors and modern living rooms.
The light fixture is made of white lacquered aluminium and steel and is a fancy wall ornament which leaves the stage to the light and shadow on white walls.
