The Sun-Light of Love pendant lamp designed by Tord Boontje for Foscarini has a unique spherical shape made of 390 metal strips that are arranged around the central body and protrude in all directions. The metal strips imitate rays of light, whose origins remains opaque.
Sun-Light of Love is a remarkable light object with a dramatic presence, it has a discreetly opulent and highly decorative effect, without being pompous or ostentatious. The Foscarini pendant lamp gives numerous environments a charismatic look, whether at home, in reception halls or in commercial spaces. The strong optical effect is maximized when it is switched on: Sun-Light of Love shines with a precise, direct, downward light beam and an indirect, diffuse light that is wonderfully reflected by the innumerable "sun rays". The gold surface finish exudes preciousness, the white one matches the more minimalist furnishing styles. The metal strips are made of cold-formed steel and aluminum, with all metallic details of the pendant light being powder-coated. Sun-Light of Love hangs down on three filigree steel cables.
