The Foscarini Madre LED table lamp by Andrea Anastasio is included in the portfolio since 2019. It appeals with a decorative character, a soft lighting effect and a function as a vase.
Madre is made of blown, acid-etched glass and borosilicate glass, lacquered aluminium and polycarbonate. Its body is voluminous and has an aperture in its middle, through which the light coming from outside melts with the light's inside. A cup is integrated on top of the light fixture, which can serve as a vase for branches or foils, which even more emphasizes Madre's decorative value. Yet, even without additional decoration, Madre has an elegant and timeless appearance, and appeals when placed on window sills, sideboards, living room tables or on the floor.
