The Metafora table lamp comes back in a revisited form! The Metafora table lamp was designed by Umberto Riva for the artistic director of the time Gae Aulenti in the beginning of the 1980s. The reedition is as successful as the original. Metafora is composed of a thin metallic structure with three legs and a conical diffuser made of opaline glass. What is so special about the Metafora table lamp is the glass base surrounding the metallic structure which is visible in the transparent version. The original design and the diffuse light distribution turn Metafora into an aesthetic and functional light which integrates in every interior.
