Flos
Snoopy Collection

Design by Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni

Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni designed the Snoopy table lamp in 1967. Since then, it has been a steady component of the Flos portfolio and is now a light fixture with absolute cult status that enriches stylish interiors with timeless originality today as it was yesterday.

The likeness with the model and name giver is unmistakable. Its silhouette and colour scheme are reminiscent of the famous dog Snoopy from the Peanuts comic and enabled Castiglioni to successfully present a humorous design.

The large table lamp consists of a refined black or coloured lacquered metallic reflector, closed below with a high-quality glass shade. On top, there are three air vents that lend the light fixture the appearance of a bowling bowl from a bird's eye perspective. The obliquely standing, cylindrical base of white Carrara marble equipped with a push button ensures a stable standing. The push button serves as a touch dimmer serving to adjust the light intensity.

Snoopy generates a pleasant, zonal illumination obliquely downwards on the table surface. The light is softly spread through the glass cover and entirely glare-free upwards and downwards. A small part of the light escapes through the little air vents. A socket for E27 lamps enables to use the lamp of your choice.

Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: When cleaning the light fixture, please only use soft cloths. It is possible to moist them with water and soap or with a neutral cleaning product. Please, do not use alcohol or solvents!
