About the Collection Established & Sons Corona
Corona by Established & Sons is a suspension for glare-free, downward directed direct light which is best-suited for table illumination and appeals with refined materials and surfaces, as well as elegant proportions. It was designed by the British designer duo Frank in 2010.
The suspension consists of a bent, flat ceramic shade and a light body, located inside. Its upper half is made of satined glass, the lower one is made of reflecting stainless steel. The light is blocked below and shines inside the shade, where it is reflected by the shiny, white ceramic surface. The ceramic dome external side is mat in white or metallized in copper. Each version has a charm of its own and harmonizes with various furniture styles.
Corona is suspended by three steel cables and is power-supplied by a transparent synthetic cable. The discreet suspension reinforces the impression that the refined light floats in the room. The smooth curves and the harmonious interplay of both basic shapes lend it an impressive elegance and dynamic.
Because of the artisanal manufacture, it is possible that the ceramic glaze features small variations from one light to the other.
