Noé Duchaufour Lawrance

Noé Duchaufour Lawrance is a French interior decorator and designer. The son of a sculptor was born in Mende, France, in 1974 and first studied metallic sculpture at the École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d’art (ENSAAMA) in Paris and, finally, furniture design at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris.

After he completed his studies, he started his career and had his first taste of success, when he was artistic director for the development of the restaurant "sketch" in London in 2002. Companies like Montblanc or Yves Saint Laurent commissioned him for the development of a corporate identity of their shops around the world. In 2003, Duchaufour Lawrance founded the creative studio Neonata. Next to other successes as interior decorator, such as the completed interior fitting of Le Ciel de Paris - a restaurant in the Parisian Tour Montparnasse - he also designed pieces of furniture and light fixtures for renowned labels.

For the Italian design label Kundalini, he designed a chandelier with a complexe organic shape and a collection with oval glass balls as central elements. Because he sets no limits to his creative area, the French also implemented projects for companies such as Paco Rabanne for which he designed a perfume flacon.

The French was already honoured with some design prizes in the course of his career, among them the Wallpaper Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Prize.

The design objects by Noé Duchaufour Lawrance are characterized by organic shapes with soft lines that fluidly form a shape, yet remain structured. His artistic objective is always to breathe new life in the rooms and objects he designs, by integrating nature's universal character.
