About the Collection Artemide Falkland

The Falkland light fixtures by Artemide have been manufactured since 1964, and are among the most famous designs made in Italy by Bruno Munari. The collection includes a floor lamp and suspensions in three sizes. The textile cover is available in fire-proof and non fire-proof versions.

The shade of white, elastic weaving is stretched over a structure of white lacquered aluminium rings and gains a varied silhouette, characterized by a beautiful symmetry and soft curves. Because of this elegant, yet discreet shape, the Falkland lights harmonize with many furnishing styles. They perfectly adapt to modern interiors as well as in high-class, ancient buildings with classical furnishings. The textile shade exudes a pleasant, diffuse light and is decorative even when turned off, because of its beautiful shape. The grey metallic structure remains in the background.
