About the Collection Verpan Hive
The Hive suspension by Verpan, designed by Verner Panton, the Danish design legend, has an unusual, eye-catching diffuser.
Made of aluminium and composed of diverse interlinked shades, Hive resembles a UFO or a futuristic hive. The special shade construction provides glare-free light, partly directly downwards, partly escaping sideways between the layers forming the diffuser and illuminating the room.
With a mixture of direct and indirect light, Hive is a suitable light source over the dining table or in the kitchen. The version of polished aluminium has a modern, functional charm. In the yellow lacquered version, Hive sets a coloured accent and alludes to the hive it is named after. The black textile cable is ideal for cozy rooms and stylishly complements the design.
The ceiling rose also comes in polished aluminium or is lacquered in yellow.
