About the Collection Rotaliana Febo
The Febo suspension by Rotaliana fascinates with contrasting internal and external faces and creates a downwards directed, direct LED light.
The light's diffuser is shaped like a flattened cup with soflty rounded edges and a mat surface. Beside this external face with a simple shape, Febo has a fascinating three-dimensional internal face featuring numerous diamond facets.
This design was inspired by arabic architecture and designs by M.C. Escher featuring a regular division of surfaces. Febo's integrated LEDs are located in the shade's frame and let the light shine on the two faceted surfaces. The light is efficiently diffracted.
