About the Collection Ingo Maurer La Festa delle Farfalle
The pendant light La Festa delle Farfalle, created in 2019 by Ingo Maurer and his team, is an expansive yet delicate chandelier of delicate metallic rods, on which 34 butterflies of paper are arranged at will.
The suspension associates two favourite motives by Ingo Maurer, the classical incandescent lamp and fluttering insects, to create a playful, fancy work of art which attracts all the attention.
The LED light source is placed in the porcelain plate located underneath the light fixture. It projects its light upwards, illuminating the butterflies and creating a charming, lively shadow interplay and downwards, for illuminating tables and seating corners. Three pear-shaped incandescent lamps are placed on the plate like fruits. A single paper dragonfly rests on the edge of the plate. It comes in another colour as the butterflies and complements the design.
La Festa delle Farfalle comes with white butterflies and a green dragonfly. A set of black butterflies and a red dragonfly to exchange or mix is available on request.
