About the Collection Catellani & Smith Wa Wa
The LED lamps Wa Wa and Uau by Catellani & Smith are characterized by a delicate design that produces large circles of light. The collection comprises table and floor lamps. All models are composed of a vertical, slender stem with small metal arms attached to the sides. The Wa Wa lamps arrange their flex arms in a staggered pattern, the Uau versions feature a single, long arm. Each arm is equipped with a small glass lens and a LED light source which projects the focused light in one direction. The Uau models provide a direct, downward task and reading light. The Wa Wa lamps on the other hand aim their light to the side against the wall as large, decorative light circles.
The minimalist design with its high-quality materials and surfaces can fit into any interior. The slender luminaires take up little space, vanishing into the background and allowing the light itself to take centrestage.
