About the Collection Wästberg w224 Alto
The LED suspension lamp w224 Alto Pendant by Wästberg combines puristic aesthetics with powerful indirect lighting that can illuminate entire rooms. The lamp was designed by Dirk Winkel.
The cylindrical luminaire body consists of a single piece of aluminium, whose reduced silhouette is enhanced with well-thought-out details. The geometrically arranged vertical pins on its underside dissipate the warmth of the LED, acting as a heat sink. The four COB LEDs sit on the top of the body, placed at an angle and equipped with a polycarbonate reflector and a glass cover, so that they throw their light at a particularly wide angle into every corner of the room. The result is an extraordinarily homogenous distribution of light that fills the entire room - despite the small size and inconspicuous shape of the Alto pendant pendant light.
The LEDs emit a bright, warm white light with high colour rendering, so that colour nuances are displayed precisely and a natural, pleasant lighting is created. The light is powerful enough to illuminate the entire room, but can also be dimmed down to a soft background illumination. The multi-directional light distribution guarantees an even and absolutely glare-free illumination.
