The LED lamps w222 Focal by Wästberg offer focused light and an archetypal design with a cozy character. The collection includes a ceiling lamp, a wall lamp and a pendant lamp, all available in five subtle colours. Designed by David Chipperfield.
The luminaires have a modular design, consisting of two interlocking elements, the lamp body, which houses the light source, and the bracket, which is mounted on the wall or ceiling. Once the mounting bracket has been installed, the body can be connected to it with a simple click. This results in many possible combinations, especially when arranging lamp clusters and groups.
A high-quality full-spectrum COB LED is installed in the body of the light, which achieves a high quality of light with warm white light and very good color rendering. A reflector made of polycarbonate, a lens made of PMMA and the white inside of the shade help direct the light downwards in a targeted and efficient manner, where it creates clear accent lighting. Tables, sideboards and counters can be illuminated, certain areas can be emphasized or, if several lights are used, entire rooms can be illuminated.
Formally, the design is clear and architectural, a combination of a square and a circle that fits into many interior styles and easily fits anywhere thanks to its small size.
