About the Collection Wästberg w164 Alto
The LED floor lamp w162 Alto by Wästberg is a minimalist uplighter whose dimmable light can be used for general or mood lighting. It was designed by Dirk Winkel.
The Alto floor lamp consists of a cylindrical base and a narrower tube, both elements connected on the side. The LEDs are integrated into the upper end of the tube, while the top of the base acts as an elegant rotary dimmer. The lamp is made entirely of aluminium and is available in black or white.
The light is emitted upwards and achieves an exceptional, even light distribution with a particularly wide angle. Alto can be used for general lighting, especially in rooms with low ceilings, but can switch to soft mood lighting at any time. The integrated LEDs emit a clear, powerful light with very good colour rendering, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere in offices as well as in living spaces.
The Alto LED uplighter can be placed anywhere. This is ensured not only by its small footprint and slim shape, but also by the minimalist design. When switched off, Alto fades into the background, appearing only as a slim, tall column in neutral colours. It fits just as well in modern as in classic interiors, in cozy living rooms as well as in sober offices.
