The LED pendant lamps w162 Dalston by Wästberg are reminiscent of classic workshop lamps, enhancing their simple and functional character with advanced technology and a refined design. The collection includes pendant lights in two sizes, both available in various colours. The design is by Sam Hecht & Kim Colin.
The lamp body consists of two parts, the LED engine and the lampshade. Both are made of aluminium, but the smaller version is also available with a mouthblown clear glass shade. The LED engine sits on top of the shade as a small hood. Here, the COB LED is integrated and equipped with a reflector and prismatic diffuser made of polycarbonate. Its high position inside the housing prevents the light from glaring. A portion of the light escapes through the gaps on the side of the housing, but the larger part is directed downward, allowing the Dalston pendant lamps to illuminate dining table, kitchen worktops and workbenches.
The high-quality COB LED have a very warm white colour temperature and a high colour rendering. The resulting illumination is cozy and natural, displaying colour nuances and textures exactly. This is advantageous for creative activities in offices and workshops, as well as in the kitchen or dining room, where food needs to be presented in an appetizing way.
Soft curves, elegant colours and the matt surface of the metal elements result in a harmonious whole, fitting for different furnishing styles and many environments. A fabric-covered cable completes the design.
