w132 Nendo Collection

Design by Nendo

The LED lamps w132 Nendo by Wästberg use an archetypal, modular design and modern lighting technology. The collection includes a table lamp, a pendant lamp and a floor lamp, each available in black and white. The design comes from Oki Sato's studio Nendo.

The w132 Nendo lights follow a modular construction, combining excellently produced individual parts into three different lamp types. These are the funnel-shaped aluminium shade, a modern LED engine made of die-cast aluminium and PMMA, and rods made of steel, supplemented by a base or suspension depending on the type of luminaire. A unique feature is the sideway cable entry below the shade, which livens up the strict geometry of the design. The height of the table and floor lamp can be adjusted using a wheel on the lamp rod. Due to the shape of the shade, the light is directed downwards and illuminates table surfaces, creates light islands and reading light.

The current version of the Nendo luminaires uses a specially developed LED engine with excellent light quality. Their warm white light colour, very good colour rendering and the option of stepless dimming enable the 30 SMD LEDs to fulfill different tasks, from powerful work light to soft mood lighting.

The clear geometric design and the neutral colour scheme fit into any furnishing style, but especially in modern rooms and minimalist interiors. Precisely worked details and the playful cable routing make all Nendo lights into eye-catchers even when switched off.
