About the Collection Wästberg w102 Chipperfield
The LED lamps Chipperfield by Wästberg are a modern interpretation of the classic desk lamp. The collection is available as a table lamp with base or surface mounting pin, as a wall lamp and as a floor lamp, offering adjustable reading and work light of a very high quality. It was designed by David Chipperfield.
The Chipperfield task lights have a delicate, right-angled structure and a round lamp head with a simple shape and memorable details. The lamps are made of solid brass or darkened steel, produced with precision and refined with a brushed surface finish. The elegant materials give the lamps their classic character, while they otherwise stand out with modern technology and high lighting quality.
The integrated full-spectrum LEDs can display the sunlight's entire colour spectrum, making them superior to conventional LEDs. This results in an extremely high quality of light and excellent colour rendering, showing colour nuances exactly and naturally, and therefore being particularly advantageous for creative work. The warm white light is especially suitable for living spaces, where it can be used not only for desk lighting and reading light but also for atmospheric background illumination. The lamp head is directed accordingly by swiveling and rotating, while a dimmer continuously adjusts the brightness. Each model offers great ease of use and places the dimmer so that it can be easily reached.
