About the Collection Vibia Array
The LED suspensions Array by Vibia are fascinating light sculptures of thin yearn threads that appear featherlight and non-material despite their size. The collection comprises cylindrical and conical lights in diverse sizes and in three colour hues.

The Array pendant lights consist of two slender rings of metal, arranged together and connected with each other by several thin textile yarns.Thanks to gravity, the yarns are pulled taut. The contour of the light fixtures - cylindrical or conical - originates from the size ratio of both rings. The diffusers integrated in the lower ring's underside and upper side steer the direct light downwards and upwards. The thick yarns form a shade that filters the indirect light. It seems subtle, transparent and nearly non-material. Its volume is suggested and the delicate colours merge with the room located below.
The textile used is fire-retardant polyester fibre, reducing fire hazard and ensuring more security in private and public interior spaces.
The integrated LEDs spread a high-quality light with an especially warm white colour temperature and a very good colour rendering, ideally suited for living spaces and all other comfortable interiors. Its brightness can be dimmed, for this purpose there is a choice of various dimming technologies.
Textile materials are inherently associated with warmth and protection. Also the Array lights provide a feeling of safety, reinforced by three earthly warm colour versions. The colour hues are chosen so that they adapt with each other and with the most possible modern colour settings. Soft light-dark colour gradients give the shape complexity and depth, while the overlaping yearns with a moiré effect generate the illusion of movement.

The light fixtures are available in two geometrical basic shapes, in three heights and four diameters. This diversity makes different application areas and individual arrangements possible as well as precisely thought through illumination concepts, perfectly adapted to a room's dimension, function and organization. The Array suspensions are well-suited for private homes and demanding lighting projects. Hotel foyers, restaurants and stairwells. They are much more than simple light sources, but fascinating lighting objects that interact with architecture and furniture, and put light colour and material harmoniously together.
