About the Collection Verpan Wire

The Wire light, designed in 1972 by Verner Panton, has an eye-catching appearance. Beside the table lamp, the collection also features a floor lamp designed in 1980 which has the same design but also a higher wire structure.

Wire has a shape reminiscent of an incandescent lamp, composed of a ball shape and a cylindrical base. Its name relies on the wire structure, forming the cylindrical base and the ball's lower half. The ball's upper half consists of a synthetic dome, serving as a lamp shade. Inside the wire structure, the base for the lamp and the electric cable are clearly visible, while the lamp is concealed inside the shade. The light is diffusely spread in the room.

The metallic structure's filigreed construction creates an impression of lightness and discretion. Whether in bedrooms or in living rooms, it brings stylish accents and provides a cozy light. Whether on sideboards or dressers, on large window sills or side tables, next to a couch or in a room's corner, Wire convinces with a beautiful retro design and a pleasant light.

The transparent electric cable is equipped with a switch, enabling to switch the light on and off.
