Verpan
VP Globe Collection

Design by Verner Panton

The original VP Globe suspension by Verpan is a fantastic design light in Space Age style, designed in 1969 by the Danish designer Verner Panton.

The futurist light fixture is available in two sizes and is available in diverse colour and material combinations.

The VP Globe Glass suspension has reflectors of opaline white glass. VP Globe has aluminium reflectors. VP Globe Brass uses a brass finish. VP Globe Coloured Glass has reflectors partly made of aluminium and partly of smoked glass. The Panto suspension has a white lacquered aluminium shade which has another shape as the other lights in the collection.

The reflectors have diverse shapes and are connected by three thin metallic chains. They are surrounded by transparent acrylic spheres with a smooth, reflecting surface. The aluminium reflectors have a shiny metallic surface and are partly lacquered in orange, blue and sometimes white. Panton chose these colours with care to create a well-balanced illumination and a pleasant, cozy atmosphere in a room.

A textile cable in black or white complements the design.
