Tom Dixon
Mirror Ball Collection

The Mirror Ball collection by Tom Dixon consists of ball lights with synthetic shades which are mostly metallized but transparent below. They reflect their surroundings, provide downwards directed light and set glamourous accents.

The Mirror Ball lights' round shades are made of polycarbonate and obtain their shape by a blowing process and their reflecting surface by vacuum metallization. Dixon's original intention when he developed this perfectly round, shiny metallized lights was to create an object which blends in with the room. The result is an uncommon eye-catcher, a lighting object endowed with strong presence and precious charm, because instead of fusing in its environment, it is made more impressive and fascinating by its lively reflections.

At first sight, Mirror Ball seems to be made of metal and glass, but because the light fixture is made of polycarbonate, it is significantly lighter and also robust.

Micro Ball is available in chrome and in gold, as a suspension in diverse sizes and as a fascinating, futurist floor lamp with various shades. Mirror Ball is suitable as a light source over dining tables or seating areas, whether used singly or forming a cluster, it adapts to diverse furnishing styles, in private and public spaces.
