About the Collection GRAU Parrot
Parrot by Tobias Grau is a cable-free LED reading lamp, designed by Timon and Melchior Grau in 2018 and already awarded with the iF Product Design Award 2019, the German Design Award 2019 and the Wallpaper Design Award 2020.
The floor lamp shines with intuitive handling, great flexibility and high-quality LED light. A battery with an operating time, comprised between 8 and 100 hours, enables to use it in any room, because it does not need a wall socket or a cable. Smooth, no-frills surfaces lend the light a pleasant feel and an appealing appearance.
The round and flat reflector head is located on top of the light stem and can be slanted by 30 degrees and rotated by 310 degrees. The light stem is telescopic and height-adjustable. This conveniently enables a precise light orientation.
A glass diffuser located below the light head ensures pleasant, glare-free light, while the integrated LEDs stand out with a warm colour temperature and a very good colour rendering. The light is controlled via a discreetly integrated touch dimmer located on top of the light stem.
Thanks to the WarmDim function, the light is warmer when dimmed down and close to the cozy lighting of a traditional incandescent lamp. Tobias Grau Parrot is suitable for a use in bedrooms and living rooms, as reading lamp to read in the evening or as a pleasant illumination for relaxing on a couch, for example.
The operating time depends on the selected brightness and is of maximum 8 hours at full intensity, and of up to 100 hours when the light is very much dimmed.
For loading the battery, it has to rest on the small "Smart Charge", connected to the wall socket via a cable. This loading device is included in the delivery.
