Terzani
Abacus Collection

What served has a model to create the Abacus collection by Terzani is expressed by the suspensions' name and shape: the abacus, an older, simple calculation device. It consists of wooden or glass beads, each featuring one computing unit, pierced by rods. This very ancient calculation device was translated by the design studio Draw into a lighting object with elegant and minimalist appeal in collaboration with Terzani. The suspension and the wall lamp Abacus have their beads in vertical instead of horizontal position.

Abacus has five, ten or 15 small, satined, opaline glass beads which are arranged on top of each others and are suspended on an hexagonal ceiling rose in satined brass. Terzani Abacus is also available as a single light or as a suspension with two or three lamps, enabling wonderful cluster combinations. The integrated LEDs' light is distributed diffusely and evenly in the surroundings through the satined glass balls.

Abacus enables numerous individual arrangements which are impressively emphasized in private homes and commercial spaces.

The textile cable is champagne coloured and the structure comes in satined brass.
