About the Collection Tecnolumen Egyptian Eye

Egyptian Eye by Tecnolumen is a at first sight inconspicuous floor light but provides dramatic lighting effects onto the surrounding walls. Günter Leuchtmann, inspired by ancient Egypt's hieroglyphs and works of art, designed it in 1986.

Egyptian Eye's light body is available in a choice of versions and, because it is made of refined marble, seems especially precious and high-class. There is a glass lens on top of the marble block, which projects authentic lighting art on the surrounding walls. Many small, concentrically arranged light points create a fascinating pattern of light and shadow which transforms the room and decorates the naked walls in a unique way.

When looked at from above, the floor lamp is reminiscent of the "Horus Eye", a symbol of the light god Horus. Egyptian Eye is not only a magnificent lighting object, but also a true designer classic. It adapts to many contexts and decorates any room with a fascinating light.

The Tecnolumen floor lamp has a convenient dimmer on the cable, enabling to adjust its light intensity.
